Social Media Content Creator

Hamilton Building Supply is seeking a creative, energetic, and self-motivated Social Media Content Creator to help tell our story, strengthen our brand, and engage customers across digital platforms. This role will be responsible for creating compelling content that showcases our products, services, employees, customers, and company culture.

The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, photography, videography, and digital marketing, with the ability to transform ideas into engaging content that drives brand awareness and customer engagement.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus performance incentives tied to qualified lead generation, appointments, and business development results.

Daily Responsibilities of the Social Medial Content Creator

• Develop and execute content strategies across social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Create high-quality photo, video, and graphic content that aligns with company branding and marketing objectives.
• Visit company locations, jobsites, customer projects, and events to capture content.
• Plan, shoot, edit, and publish short-form and long-form video content.
• Write engaging captions, blog posts, website content, employee spotlights, and promotional materials.
• Monitor social media trends and recommend new content ideas and opportunities.
• Manage and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting schedules.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, HR, and leadership teams to highlight company initiatives and success stories.
• Track and report on social media and content performance metrics.
• Assist with website updates and digital marketing campaigns as needed.
• Support recruiting and employer branding efforts through employee-focused content.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications of the Business Development Specialist

• 2+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Strong photography and videography skills.
• Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs.
• Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other graphic design tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and brand consistency.
• Comfortable being on-site, attending events, and interacting with employees and customers.
• Experience creating content for the construction, building materials, home improvement, manufacturing, or related industries. (Preferred)
• Knowledge of social media analytics and digital advertising. (Preferred)
• Drone photography/video experience (FAA certification a plus). (Preferred)
• Familiarity with website content management systems. (Preferred)
