The work setting for this role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in both location and schedule. While your primary responsibilities will be conducted from home, periodic visits to our outpatient office in Danbury may be required for team meetings or training sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to create personalized therapy plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to individuals, families, and groups.

• Document and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated on the latest mental health trends, techniques, and research.
\n
• Offer support and guidance to clients navigating various challenges, from anxiety and depression to complex trauma and relationship issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Life Stance Behavioral Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards governing clinical practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse clientele.

Compensation and Benefits\n
