Job Title: Machine Operator / Shop Helper (CNC Training Opportunity 2nd shift)

Join a small aerospace machine shop producing precision aircraft components. This role is a combination of machine operator and shop helper, supporting daily production while learning CNC operations. Candidates will be trained to eventually operate CNC machines independently.

• Assist with machine operation and general shop duties.
• Load/unload parts and materials.
• Perform basic part inspections using calipers and other measuring tools.
• Read basic blueprints and follow work instructions.
• Use hand tools to support production and setup activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support production, quality, and safety requirements.

• CNC machine operating experience preferred but not required .
• Candidates without CNC experience must have stable tenure in a machine operator or manufacturing role .
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers.
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools.
• Ability to work with small precision parts and follow detailed instructions.
• Manufacturing, machining, or aerospace experience is a plus.

• Hands-on training and career growth into a CNC Operator role.
• Stable aerospace manufacturer with consistent work and long-term opportunities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, CA.

The pay range for this position is $24.15 - $26.15/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
