Job Title: Machine Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled machine operator to perform basic setup and operation of various machines, hand tools, and pneumatic tools. This role involves working with equipment used to deburr, slot, drill, and cut aluminum metals. The position offers two shifts: the 1st shift focuses more on deburring and button operation, while the 2nd shift requires more CNC operation experience.

• Set up and operate various machines, hand tools, and pneumatic tools.
• Deburr, slot, drill, and cut aluminum metals.
• Clock on and off jobs accurately using an electronic clocking system.
• Read and understand manufacturing orders.
• Use and read various types of measuring equipment.
• Operate hand tools, tooling fixtures, and machines such as saws, grinders, drills, drill presses, belt sanders, slotters, and shears.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience in machine operation and general labor.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing orders.
• Proficiency in using and reading measuring equipment.
• Capability to operate various hand tools and machines.
• Punctuality and reliability.

• Experience in a machine shop setting is preferred.
• Willingness to work collaboratively and adapt to additional tasks.

The position requires the use of safety glasses or goggles meeting ANSI Z87.1-1989 requirements with permanent side shields and footwear that meets ANSI Z41 standards with a steel or composite toe.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burbank, CA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
