Automotive Paint Prep Technician

Paint Prep & Detailer
Scaletta Armoring, an automotive remanufacturer located in Bedford Park, IL has an immediate need for Paint Prep & Detailer.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform needed body work to include use of filler for repairs
- Prepare vehicles for painting to include cleaning, sanding, priming, and taping
- Wet sand primer and mask vehicle
- Ensure proper maintenance of booth
- Ensure proper usage and storage of painting products
- Buffing with wool and foam pads and compound
- Final Polishing
- Washing vehicle and removing all compound residue
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to buff and polish
- Paint Prep Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Excellent attendance and work habits
