Position Overview

As the CTMP , you will serve as the senior physics authority for Radiation Oncology, ensuring the safe, precise, and high-quality delivery of radiation therapy to our nation’s Veterans.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all medical physics and dosimetry operations
• Oversee quality assurance (QA) for radiation therapy equipment
• Ensure compliance with national standards, including:
• American College of Radiology
• American Society for Radiation Oncology
• American Association of Physicists in Medicine
• Supervise and mentor physicists, dosimetrists, and technical staff
• Serve as a key advisor on radiation safety and regulatory compliance
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in patient care
