As a Security Officer Welcome Desk in Carmel, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a financial institution location, you will create a welcoming, professional presence while monitoring access, greeting visitors, verifying credentials, and responding to security-related concerns. Your attentive customer service and clear communication will help support a secure environment for employees and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk of a financial services location by following site-specific security-related procedures, visitor management protocols, and reception policies.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access and visitor records.
• Monitor entry points, lobby activity, alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems from a stationary front desk post; report unusual activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Assist employees, clients, and visitors with directions, access requests, and general information while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
