Production Supervisor

Job Description

Casting Department:

-Oversee coordination of iron pipe casting operations

-Lead a team of 30-35 people

-Maintain quality and safety compliance

-Manage material and documentation

-Resolve operational issues

-Lead daily standups

-Handle machine start up, tracking and testing chemistry of iron

Finishing Department:

-Oversee a coordinate finishing operations of cast iron pipe

-Lead a team of 15-20 employees

-Ensure quality and safety regulations are followed

-Collaborate with maintenance and other supervisors

-The Finishing General Supervisor oversees and coordinates the finishing operations of cast iron pipe in a heavy industrial

-Make sure ovens are up and running, shut down goes well, oversee painting and cement line, etc.

-Help out hands-on when needed

-Lead morning standups

Skills and Requirements

-Bachelor's Degree and 2 to 4 years experience OR No Degree and 5 to 10 years of experience

-Applicable Leadership Experience

-Strong communication skills, Professionalism, Accountability etc.

-Previously working in a Heavy Industrial or Heavy Manufacturing Environment -Foundry or Piping Specific Experience

-Experience working in an environment that is not climate controlled
