Logistics Manager

FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Transportation Operations Mangager for a great client! This company is a leader in its space and is focused on delivering life-saving products on a global scale. So, what will you be doing as Logistics Manager? Own relationships with logistics providers (primarily parcel) Negotiate rates with parcel carriers Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners (3PL and carriers) Build and publish KPI dashboard (inventory turns, cycle count accuracy, order accuracy, on-time delivery, damage rates, etc.) Manage contracts with 3PLs and carriers; Negotiate renewals and new agreements when required Ensure inventory records are accurate, timely, and aligned between internal and 3PL systems Audit and evaluate 3PL and carrier performance and stability What you will need to be successful BS in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or another related field 8+ years of experience in distribution and warehousing Previous experience managing 3PLs and parcel carriers Proven ability to negotiate rates and service agreements with parcel carriers Advanced database experience (Excel, Power BI) Experience in a regulated industry Things considered a plus MBA Prior experience in medical devices ERP/WMS implementation #J-18808-Ljbffr
