Location 3511 Engle Road, Fort Wayne, IN, 46809, United States Job Category Warehouse Salary, Plastics Employee Type Exempt FT Responsibilities In this role, you will lead all aspects of warehouse and logistics operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your day will focus on ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution across shipping, receiving, storage, and inventory control. The typical day-to-day of this position will include, but is not limited to: Oversee daily warehouse operations including staffing, scheduling, and performance Monitor KPIs such as productivity, on-time shipments, and inventory accuracy Ensure all shipments are picked, loaded, and delivered accurately and on time Manage inventory through ERP/WMS systems, maintaining accuracy above 99.9% Partner cross-functionally with transportation, production, and corporate logistics teams Lead safety efforts—conduct training, enforce compliance, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse Oversee dock activity, trailer scheduling, and intercompany shuttle operations Manage material handling equipment, including maintenance and cost control Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs Support audits (BRC, quality, sanitation) and ensure audit readiness at all times You’ll spend time both on the floor and in planning/analysis—this is a hands-on leadership role where visibility and engagement with your team are critical. This role primarily supports a manufacturing operation, so your schedule will align with business and production needs. You can expect: A full-time, on-site leadership role based in Fort Wayne A schedule that generally follows day shift hours, but requires flexibility Regular presence on the warehouse floor to support operations and team leadership Occasional extended hours, early mornings, or evenings as needed to meet production demands or resolve operational issues Availability to support business needs during peak periods, audits, or critical shipments This is a highly visible role where responsiveness and adaptability are important to keeping operations running smoothly.
