Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs, crafting individualized therapy strategies that guide them towards achieving their functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply proven methodologies to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and day-to-day activities.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in partnership with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff, ensuring integrated and holistic care for each patient.
• Guide Patients and Caregivers: Educate both patients and their families on therapy techniques to encourage consistent progress at home.
• Monitor and Document Progress: Keep track of clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their path to recovery.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized educational institution
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are strongly supported

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license is mandatory
• NBCOT certification is required
