School Occupational Therapist | Camarillo, California

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in California (OTR/L)
• Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting preferred
• Comfortable working with an elementary school caseload
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Adaptable, organized, and committed to the success of every student

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for elementary students
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and adapt IEPs
• Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Provide direct and consultative services to address fine motor, sensory, and self-care needs
• Engage families in the therapy process to promote continuity of care
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed throughout the semester
