Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-Time & part-time Positions Available!

Company: Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center in North Easton

Shift: Openings on all shifts, including an every other weekend rotation

Compensation: $38 - $43 an hour, depending on the shift. Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials. Weekly pay

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of the RN and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of the RN

• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident

• Maintain current resident care plans

• Follow physician's orders

• Transcribe physician's orders promptly and accurately

• Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness

• Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes

• Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs

• Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list

• Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary

• Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements:

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program

• Must be CPR certified

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state, or be in the process of obtaining one

• Minimum, one (1) year experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility (new graduates welcome!)

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions

• Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
