We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to support recruiting and HR operations in North Charleston, South Carolina. This long-term contract position focuses on high-volume hiring, onboarding coordination, and employee support while helping leaders maintain strong staffing levels. The person in this role will work closely with managers and HR partners to improve the candidate experience, keep hiring activities organized, and assist with key talent and engagement programs.

Responsibilities:

• Review incoming candidate applications, respond promptly, and help route applicants with relevant experience to locations with current hiring needs.

• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities for store and field positions, including sourcing support, screening, and interview coordination.

• Maintain and refresh job advertisements across external career platforms to improve visibility and attract talent.

• Prepare and distribute offer letters for selected candidates while ensuring hiring documentation is accurate and timely.

• Support onboarding processes and partner with the HR team to strengthen workflows and address process gaps.

• Administer the learning management system and help track training-related activities for new and existing employees.

• Assist the broader Talent Acquisition and HR team with additional projects and day-to-day coordination as business needs evolve.

• Previous experience in talent acquisition, recruiting coordination, or HR administration, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a detail-oriented and service-oriented approach.
• Solid organizational and time management skills, with close attention to detail and follow-through.
• Experience using sourcing tools such as Indeed or similar recruiting platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with comfort working in HRIS or applicant tracking systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with onboarding, background checks, HR compliance, and preliminary candidate interviews is preferred.
