We manufacture standard corrugated containers and many specialty packaging products. We are looking for a Die Cut Assistant Operator – 3rd shift at our facility in La Mirada, CA. Position Specific Details and Highlights Starting wages: $24.86 per hour plus shift differential Shift: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am (3rd shift) Benefits: 401k match, Health insurance, Vision insurance, Life insurance, Tuition reimbursement, Free Employee Assistance Program What You Will Do In Your Role Adhere to all plant environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures while meeting and exceeding production, waste and quality goals Assist operators with troubleshooting and making machine adjustments on converting equipment Lead and support crew to meet production and quality goals, assigning tasks, leading by example, and escalating issues to supervisors Assume full responsibility for machine operation and crew direction in the operator’s absence Perform and document required quality checks, including completing feedback in FFF Utilize systems and tools such as FFF, MP2, and Spectro to support production and quality tracking Train new employees and collaborate closely with maintenance to support equipment reliability Maintain cleanliness in designated work area throughout shift Handle all aspects of the machine’s daily production, including setup, operation, quality, and daily maintenance Work any shift, including holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed Work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling Work eight (8) hours a day and up to twelve (12) hours Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Minimum of one (1) year of experience assisting or operating a die‑cut machine What Will Put You Ahead Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry Our Benefits Medical, dental, vision, flexible spending and health savings accounts, life insurance, disability, retirement, paid vacation/time off, educational assistance, infertility assistance, paid parental leave and adoption assistance Eligibility criteria set by the applicable Summary Plan Description, policy or guideline and benefits may vary by geographic region Equal Opportunities Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
