Quick Facts Location: St. Rita's Cancer Center, Lima, OH & Grand Lake Regional Cancer Center, Celina, OH Start Date: 05/07/2026 Duration: Ongoing coverage, with specific weeks from June to December 2026 Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Hours per Week: Full-time, 40 hours Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licenses/Certifications: Ohio Medical License, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology Experience: Prior experience in radiation oncology preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $19.50/hour Pay Package: Competitive pay, paid weekly via direct deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time, in line with applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Paid licensure, certification, travel, and other related reimbursements (when applicable) 24/7 dedicated support team from VHS What You’ll Do Provide outpatient and inpatient radiation oncology care at busy cancer centers Prescribe and order tests, images, and radiation treatments following established protocols Administer a variety of procedures including external beam radiotherapy, IMRT, SBRT, SRS, and more Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and radiation therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain documentation within EMRs such as Mosaiq and Epic Contribute to patient education and participate in multidisciplinary discussions Work independently while coordinating with existing staff and support personnel What You Need Ohio Medical License (or eligible to obtain) Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology Minimum of 2+ years of relevant clinical experience Strong knowledge of radiation procedures and safety protocols Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Preferred: Prior locum or outpatient cancer center experience Familiarity with Mosaiq and Epic EMRs About the Assignment This locum opportunity is based at a leading outpatient cancer treatment center in Lima, Ohio, providing outpatient and inpatient radiation oncology services. Due to a physician retirement, coverage is needed for specific periods from June through December 2026.
