Post Doctoral Scholar Thoracic Post Doctoral Scholar to pursue specialized research training, education and experience under the guidance of Dr. Laura Kresty, PhD in the Department of Surgery, Comprehensive Cancer Center; plans, designs and executes experiments of considerable scope and complexity targeting the interception of thoracic malignancies; collects and analyzes data for research sponsored by appropriate agencies and Institutions; identifies and selects problems to be studied; develops and troubleshoots new experimental techniques and protocols; attends research seminars; contributes to manuscript preparation and supports technical writing; participates in preparation of grant applications for extramural funding; performs additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Doctoral degree in Biological Sciences required; Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
