Part‑Time Social Media & Content Manager Location: Naperville, IL Company: Salvo Architectural Roofing Contractors Inc. & Salvo Metal Works Position Type: Part‑Time (10–25 Hours Per Week) Work Environment: Hybrid (In Office, Field, and Hybrid Editing) About Us Salvo Architectural Roofing Contractors Inc. is a high‑end roofing contractor specializing in slate, tile, cedar, metal, and custom roofing systems for luxury homes and specialty projects. Our sister company, Salvo Metal Works, fabricates custom architectural metal products including chimney shrouds, cupolas, dormers, finials, snow retention systems, and other architectural details shipped nationwide. We are seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Part‑Time Social Media & Content Manager to manage and grow the marketing presence of both companies while showcasing the craftsmanship, artistry, and expertise behind our work. This is a hands‑on position for someone who enjoys being in the field, visiting job sites, capturing content, and transforming that content into engaging social media, marketing, and branding materials. Position Overview The ideal candidate will be local to the Chicagoland area and able to visit active job sites, completed projects, and our fabrication facility to create content. A dedicated workspace will be provided at our office, while editing and content preparation may be completed remotely. This position is expected to average 10–25 hours per week , depending on workload, seasonality, and ongoing marketing initiatives. This role requires balancing the unique marketing needs of two distinct companies: Salvo Architectural Roofing Contractors – high‑end roofing and restoration services Salvo Metal Works – custom architectural metal fabrication and nationwide sales Responsibilities & Content Creation Visit roofing projects, fabrication facilities, and completed installations to capture photo and video content. Produce project spotlights, behind‑the‑scenes content, educational videos, and customer success stories. Create short‑form video content, reels, stories, and promotional videos. Photograph completed projects and fabrication processes. Social Media Management Manage social media accounts for both companies, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Google Business. Develop and maintain monthly content calendars. Schedule, publish, and monitor content. Respond to comments and engagement when appropriate. Marketing & Brand Development Assist with email marketing campaigns and newsletters. Create marketing graphics, promotional materials, and digital assets. Help maintain website and blog content. Support lead generation and brand awareness initiatives. Analytics & Reporting Track social media growth and engagement metrics. Analyze campaign performance. Recommend new strategies and content opportunities. Qualifications (Required) Experience managing business social media accounts. Strong photography and videography skills. Experience editing video content and creating graphics. Excellent written communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to local job sites. Preferred Knowledge of roofing, construction, architecture, or the building trades. Experience marketing luxury residential or construction‑related businesses. Experience with drone photography and videography. FAA Part 107 Drone License (or willingness to obtain one).
