This score ranks Lodi Hospital's Emergency Department among the elite in patient satisfaction. As an RN on our team, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed.A caregiver in this position PRN (as needed) variable shifts. You must work 48 hours within a six-week period.A caregiver who excels in this role will:Provide direct nursing care.Implement and monitor patient care plans.Monitor, record and communicate patients' conditions.Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Graduate from an accredited School of Professional NursingCurrent state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)External applicants: two years of recent related nursing experienceInternal applicants with less than two years' experience, but post orientation/90-day probationary period, could be considered with the Chief Nursing Officer level review and approvalWill consider military RN experienceSuccessfully pass all prescreen competency assessmentsBasic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red CrossAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross upon or within one year of hirePreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)Physical Requirements:Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.Personal Protective Equipment:Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.The policy of Cleveland Clinic Health System and its system hospitals (Cleveland Clinic Health System) is to provide equal opportunity to all of our caregivers and applicants for employment in our drug free environment.
