Project Manager As a project manager, you will have the P/L responsibility for the projects you run. You will provide coordination of equipment, material, and subcontractor requirements. You will provide oversight to the project team, drafting and engineering personnel. Plan, assign, direct work with the project team and resolve obstacles. Establish and maintain relationship and ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or 2 year degree in construction science/management, engineering, architecture, business administration, or a related degree. Three years of construction experience recommended. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Outreach Training preferred. General knowledge of construction processes, practices, and work sites. General knowledge of safety regulations, ANSI standards, local and state building codes, environmental codes, industry-specific codes and guidelines. Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet preferred but not required. Ability to read and understand technical specifications, blueprints, technical manuals, product/material installation instructions and engineering/architectural drawings. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Responsibilities Manage submittals, shop drawings, and RFIs Participate in meetings to coordinate work and manage labor concerns Ensure work is competed in accordance with quality standards and contract specifications Review project drawings, specifications, and submittals Prepare monthly cost to complete forecasts for financial statement preparation. Attend monthly financial review meeting as scheduled and update company management on financial status of jobs assigned. Coordinate monthly billing process and maintain over-billing position. Negotiate billing approvals with customer. Collect project accounts receivable. Coordinate with Labor Superintendent the resolution of any and all labor problems or labor productivity issues. Tuition reimbursement provides 50% reimbursement for tuition to a university or community college for management approved courses and curriculum.
