Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plastic Fabricator for a client in the Rochester area!
This role is responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing plastic materials according to specifications and blueprints. The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of plastic materials and tools in a production or custom fabrication environment.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plastic Fabricator for a client in the Rochester area!
This role is responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing plastic materials according to specifications and blueprints. The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of plastic materials and tools in a production or custom fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble plastic components using hand and power tools
- Perform bonding, welding, and finishing of plastic materials (e.g., acrylic, PVC, polycarbonate)
- Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, routers, heat benders, and polishers
- Drill, tap, and machine plastic parts to precise specifications
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain proper material handling and storage procedures
- Troubleshoot fabrication issues and adjust processes as needed
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
- High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred)
- 1-3+ years of fabrication experience (plastic, woodworking, or similar materials)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Experience with plastic welding or solvent bonding
- Familiarity with CNC routers or machining equipment
- Experience working with acrylic, PVC, HDPE, or similar materials
- Knowledge of polishing and finishing techniques
- Manufacturing or fabrication shop environment
- Exposure to noise, dust, and fabrication materials
- Required use of PPE (safety glasses, gloves, etc.)
