Position Summary The HR & Payroll Coordinator supports the Human Resources department with weekly payroll preparation, timekeeping review, employee data entry, and related administrative responsibilities.This position plays an important role in ensuring payroll information is complete, accurate, and submitted on time. The coordinator will work with employees, managers, Human Resources, and Accounting to resolve discrepancies, maintain records, and follow established payroll procedures. This position requires excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills. Requirements Associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred. 1 - 3 years of experience in payroll, HR administration, accounting support, or a related field preferred. Experience with timekeeping, payroll preparation, data entry, or administrative recordkeeping is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with numbers and employee information. Ability to manage recurring deadlines and follow up on outstanding information. Professional communication skills and the ability to work with employees and managers across the organization. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly. Understanding of applicable labor laws and payroll best practices. Summary Payroll and Timekeeping Collect, review, and verify employee time records and overtime information before payroll processing. Assist with weekly payroll preparation for salaried, hourly, and commission-based employees. Follow up with employees and managers regarding missing punches, incomplete time records, or discrepancies. Review payroll entries for accuracy and completeness before submission for review and approval. Identify and report discrepancies, unusual entries, or missing information that could affect payroll accuracy. Assist with researching and resolving routine payroll questions. Follow established procedures for employee pay changes and other payroll-related updates, ensuring required approvals and documentation are obtained before processing. Coordinate with Human Resources, management, and Accounting as needed to resolve payroll issues. HR and Administrative Support Enter and update employee information in the HRIS and Service Titan. Assist with maintaining accurate employee records and payroll documentation. Support payroll-related onboarding and offboarding tasks, including entering approved employee information and processing documented changes. Respond to routine HR-related inquiries and direct sensitive or complex employee matters to the appropriate HR representative. Assist with coordinating employee training and other HR initiatives as needed. Handle employee information professionally and maintain confidentiality.
