Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Operating Room experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine.

• 24 months gap required between for Travel at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - WVU Medicine.

Additional Details:

Artificial nails are not allowed for any travelers. Failure to adhere could result in being sent home and/or terminated if policy is not followed.If candidate worked a perm facility in the last 12 months, 1 reference must be from perm facility.At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Special Requests:Eligibility as current/previous employee: cumulative experience applies for previous travelers.Can only submit to 1 position at a time across the entire WVU system.Driver's license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility.Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years.Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years.Travel pairs must be submitted together.

Required Skills/Experience:Must have 2 years in OR with strong ortho (total knee/hips), strong neuro, strong trauma, and robotics experience; robotic (DaVinci) experience required.

Unit Details:5 North and 2 West both perform outpatient cases; 2 West is primarily outpatient.24/7 poly-trauma response.Service lines include major ortho, joints, spines, sports medicine, trauma, neuro craniotomies and spines, Xi robotics for surgical oncology, urology, and GYN, bariatric, ENT head and neck free flaps/reconstruction and basic ENT, and ophthalmology cases including retina, cataracts, and oculoplastics.Adult heart, pediatric heart, and kidney transplant cases are handled by separate teams/locations.

Shift & Scheduling:Rotating day/afternoon Sat/Sun shifts.No call.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver's license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certification TS-C
