Product Owner - nCino

Locations: Charlotte, NC; Irving, TX; Minneapolis, MN; Chandler, AZ About the Role We're looking for a highly motivated Product Owner to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of financial services solutions powered by the nCino platform . In this role, you will partner closely with clients, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to transform complex business challenges into scalable product capabilities. You will play a critical role in shaping product vision, managing priorities across multiple initiatives, and driving successful implementations within large-scale financial services environments. The ideal candidate combines strong product ownership experience with a consulting mindset and deep knowledge of lending and banking technology ecosystems. Responsibilities Drive Product Strategy and Delivery Define, prioritize, and manage product roadmaps, epics, features, and user stories from concept through delivery. Maintain a well-groomed backlog aligned with business objectives, customer needs, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with engineering, design, quality assurance, and business teams to deliver high-impact product outcomes. Establish clear acceptance criteria and ensure solutions meet functional, compliance, and operational standards. Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. Partner with Clients and Stakeholders Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable product solutions. Facilitate discovery workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and solution-definition engagements. Communicate product vision, roadmap priorities, implementation plans, and key decisions to executive and project stakeholders. Build strong cross-functional partnerships to drive alignment and execution across teams. Lead Financial Services and nCino Initiatives Develop and execute product strategies supporting lending, onboarding, credit management, and operational workflow processes. Leverage hands‑on expertise with the nCino platform to guide solution design, enhancements, and implementation activities. Partner with technical and functional teams to optimize platform capabilities and deliver business value. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation across financial services workflows. Enable Customer Growth and Adoption Support new client onboarding by assessing requirements, defining implementation approaches, and aligning product capabilities with business goals. Create scalable frameworks, onboarding playbooks, and best practices to accelerate customer adoption and success. Partner with customer success and implementation teams to drive seamless feature adoption and product rollout strategies. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5–10 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or in a comparable role. Experience delivering large-scale financial systems or digital transformation initiatives within banking or financial services organizations. Hands‑on experience with nCino platform implementations and product enhancements. Experience writing and managing detailed epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Experience working within Agile environments, including Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban methodologies. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
