We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and clinical excellence. Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics and oral surgery.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary materials, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
• Take dental radiographs (X-ray), ensuring adherence to safety protocols and proper documentation.
• Provide chairside assistance by handing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a clear working field during procedures.
• Perform vital signs assessment and monitor patient comfort throughout appointments.
• Support infection control protocols through aseptic technique and proper sterilization procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and answer questions regarding oral health practices.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless clinic operations, including reception duties when necessary as a dental receptionist.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting with knowledge of general dentistry.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Experience with X-ray procedures,3D scanners, and other diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
• Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently while maintaining excellent patient care standards.
• Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental procedures is preferred.
