A leading music streaming company seeks a Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics and Data Science to support experimentation and machine learning model development, optimizing media spend through marketing mix modeling and incrementality testing across the customer lifecycle.

Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics and Data Science Responsibilities:

• Build marketing mix models to estimate incremental ROI of marketing channels and optimize spend, and design and measure paid media incrementality tests using geo-experiments.
• Support testing of marketing initiatives to drive app engagement and subscriber retention across the customer lifecycle, applying proper statistical rigor including experimental design (sample sizing, timing), quality checking implementation, and test measurement/evaluation.
• Build machine learning models to predict key outcomes informing marketing tactics across digital acquisition and user journey orchestration, and build web applications using Python for daily monitoring of test and model results and insights.
• Develop complex SQL queries combining data from a wide variety of sources for feature engineering and test analysis, and create custom Python libraries to automate key methods for team use.
• Deliver presentations describing experimental results and recommendations to business partners, work closely with engineering to productionize and monitor model performance, contribute to research and innovation initiatives across AI, causal inference, and statistical methods, and represent Commercial Analytics and Data Science capabilities within cross-functional teams.

Senior Manager, Commercial Analytics and Data Science Q ualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• Background in paid media, ideally with experience at large media companies.
• Excellent programming skills in SQL, Python, and R.
• Understanding or experience working within an enterprise data warehouse environment.
• Experience building marketing mix models.
• Experience with paid media incrementality measurement/testing, and working in or partnering with media agencies.
• Background in subscription or e-commerce businesses.
• Capability to build, tune, and explain machine learning models for supervised and unsupervised learning, including but not limited to regression, clustering, and ensemble methods.
• Understanding of statistical concepts, lift analysis, and A/B testing fundamentals.
• Ability to produce data visualizations for explaining technical concepts.
• Experience with cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with business intelligence dashboards.
• Familiarity with marketing communications strategy and processes, including online media, application development, and website development.
• Experience using tools such as Robyn and Meridian is preferred.
• Experience building web apps using frameworks such as Streamlit, Shiny, or Dash is preferred.

Shift:

• Approximately 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM ET.
• A 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM PT schedule can be accommodated for West Coast candidates.
