FIRST Insurance Funding is a subsidiary of Wintrust, a financial services company with more than $66 billion in assets.**What You'll Do*** Promptly and accurately research, review, and process payments from various sources along with loss and loss recoveries.* Research and resolve unidentified transactions in the cash suspense ledger and assist in reconciliation process of suspense items* Coordinate the daily department balancing spreadsheet. and review transactions identified in the payment exception reports.* Assist in researching and resolving items in general ledger accounts, including processing necessary entries to clear outstanding amounts* Process complex payment/account transactions, adjustments, and reconciling items.* Manage department email box and distribute items to team members for processing and handle complex requests.* Promptly and accurately process requests and/or respond to inquiries from internal and external customers. Take corrective action as necessary to resolve issues.* Prepare and/or maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation within area of responsibility.
