Contributes to standards around which others will operate. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Requires basic awareness of financial services. Wealth management experience is a plus. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide and influence internal and external audiences. Has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results. May have responsibility for strategic/resource planning, budgeting and policy formulation within area of expertise.Responsibilities: Work with partner groups and Public Affairs colleagues to develop integrated Communications strategies that support franchise-wide priorities and business line specific programsDraft organizational announcements, initiative-specific communications and talking points, including the coordination of employee-related events.Ensure effective communication cascades and channels that distribute targeted information at the franchise, business line and local team levelWriting communication updates and messages as per the Communications plan or to support franchise wide activities as well as business/function line communicationProviding communications support for major projectsCoordinating communication videosSource, develop, and ensure relevance of content for various channels.Development and implementation of the communications strategy to maintain and strengthen reputation among the key audiences, based on the business and marketing strategy, global and local prioritiesPromotion of the key advantages of the company, its products and services with external and internal communication instruments among key external audiences and employeesBuilding and strengthening work with the key media pool, key audiences and their representatives. Influencing company’s reputation in the public sphereAnti-crisis communication and mitigation of communication crisisDevelopment of the social media practice usage to strengthen company’s positioning and reputation including executive social content creation and implementation.Coordination with Marketing on conference/event and award submissionsConduction of the public opinion research and development of informational campaigns and services to strengthen company’s positioning and reputationOrganize and assist the public speaking of business/function management team (speeches at the forums and conferences, interviews, commentary in the media).Assist the business/function with all information required to strengthen company’s reputation and for implementation of the Public affairs strategyConduction of the monitoring and analytics of Citibank presence in the media/public field and a plan of relevant corrective actionsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:Knowledge of communications and 6-10 years of experienceStrong communications (written, verbal and interpersonal) skills, including tact, diplomacy, and ability to influence senior executivesIntegrity, maturity, dependability, a positive professional attitudeA team player who will implement initiatives effectively and motivate others to perform their taskExcellent organizational and project management skillsExperience or demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-based environment within a heavily matrixed organizationTrack record of success in delivering high quality work in a fast paced and dynamic environmentCritical competencies include oral communication, written communication, project management, relationship building, results orientation and strategic orientationEducation:Bachelor’s degree in business management, communications, marketing or another related fieldWorking Environment: office setting, minimal travelling and working hours in the office may be required during projects.Effort: minimal physical effort required.
