Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• CPR/BLS certification from approved vendor: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field: Required
• Impella and Balloon Pump experience: Required
• EPIC experience: Required

Responsibilities

• Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care.
• Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines while employing critical thinking and professional judgment.
• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, humane environment.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
