Radiology Technologist-1

Job Description Perform medical exams using X-rays on patients to create images of specific parts of the body. The images are then interpreted by a doctor for diagnosis and monitoring of disease. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic medical radiographies for the emergency department, outpatient, inpatient and surgery patients. Ability to utilize all radiographic and portable x-ray equipment. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Zero to two years of modality‑specific work experience. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, either an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
