About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Sales to lead a team of Directors and Account Executives in the pursuit of aggressive net new revenue growth targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy, building and leading a high-performing sales team, and establishing effective sales processes and methodologies. This role requires a data-driven mindset, strong coaching and leadership abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. The VP of Sales will also be expected to partner with marketing, track key performance metrics, and build relationships with customers and industry influencers to enhance the company's brand and sales pipeline. Applicants for the VP of Sales position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' of sales leadership experience, preferably in a high-tech or SaaS environment, and a proven track record of exceeding net new revenue growth targets. The role demands an individual with excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic leadership skills, who can effectively lead conversations with senior executives. A deep knowledge of sales performance optimization and enablement best practices is essential, as is the ability to define sales territories, quotas, and compensation plans to drive the right selling behaviors. The ideal candidate will be adept at using sales technologies and tools to enhance team productivity and will be committed to continuous optimization to improve sales efficiency and close rates.
