VIP Truck Center stocks new and used Ford and Volvo commercial trucks, parts, and accessories. We service all makes of trucks. Our Sales Department offers new and used trucks, financing programs customized to fit customer needs, and trade-ins. Our Parts Department is stocked with genuine Ford and Volvo truck parts. Our Service Department features state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic and repair equipment. Our skilled factory‑trained and certified technicians deliver efficient, quality truck service. Job Description VIP Truck Center, a Volvo Class 8 Truck and Ford Medium Duty Truck dealership, is looking to fill the position of Service Manager. Responsibilities Monitor and control the performance and profitability of the department Monitor technician productivity Maintain good relations with customers Recruit, train, and retain technicians Mentor and advise technicians Ensure the right technician is assigned the right job Monitor the warranty process Work with other departments as required Perform additional duties as required VIP offers a benefit package that includes medical (Blue Cross), dental, eye care, vacation, and a 401K program with a match. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a mechanical background with at least five years as a journeyman mechanic, be diesel engine certified, and at least two years as a foreman/service advisor. Must be customer friendly and be a team player. A valid driver’s license (CDL preferred) and insurability is mandatory. Must be computer proficient.
