Senior Tax Accountant

We are a reputable professional services firm, providing accounting and tax services to clients of various industries, with a commitment to business ethics and client service. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on detail with a desire to grow professionally in a challenging industry where client satisfaction is paramount. Responsibilities * Prepare and review individual, fiduciary, corporate and partnership tax returns in compliance with federal and state tax laws. * Calculation of personal and business estimated Federal and State tax payments. * Developing tax minimization strategies and implementing them accordingly. * Communicate with accounting staff to ensure timely deliverable review of financial statements with a focus on profit maximization. * A strong commitment to professional education and remaining up to date with current trends and tax law changes. Qualifications * Professional licensure required - either Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA). * Minimum 5 years experience in the preparation and review of Federal and State tax returns. * Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment. * Software knowledge - tax software (UltraTax is a plus); Microsoft Office; Quickbooks Online and Desktop. * Ability to successfully work in a fast paced deadline oriented environment. * Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering results to achieve client satisfaction.
