Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance8+ years in public accounting, large organization, or publicly traded companyStrong technical knowledge and experience applying GAAPExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive process improvements, work independently, and think objectivelyOutstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to non-financial partnersStrong attention to detail and accuracyDiligent and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlinesStrong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to empower and develop a teamMust be comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment, with the expectation of increasing responsibility and scope over time as proficiency in the position developsResponsibilitiesThis role will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of capital projects and fixed asset management—from project initiation and capitalization through depreciation, disposals, retirements and paymentsEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 360 – Property, Plant & Equipment) and company accounting policiesShould be detail-oriented, self-starter looking for a meaningful opportunity to manage, organize, and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines and cross-functionally providing on-time deliverables for the Finance teamAct as the subject matter expert on the utilization of the Oracle fixed asset system/subledger.Prepare and review monthly close activities including depreciation, impairment analysis, reconciliations, and rollforwardsSupport preparation of quarterly/annual financial statements, including footnote disclosures Maintain strong SOX-compliant controls around fixed asset processes, including reconciliations, approvals, and system securityCollaborate cross-functionally with Tax, Treasury, Operations, FP&A, and External Reporting to ensure accurate treatment of capital expenditureManage and develop staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvementParticipate in other miscellaneous projects and tasks as needed.Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident.Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package.
