Solon Pointe is hiring a Full-Time Dietary Cook / Prep Cook to join our team!

What You’ll Do

Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and resident dietary needs
Assist with food preparation, portioning, and meal service
Follow recipes, production sheets, and special diet requirements
Ensure meals are prepared and served safely and on time
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control standards
Properly store, label, and rotate food and supplies
Assist with kitchen cleanup and other dietary department duties as needed
Work closely with the Dietary Manager and dietary team to provide excellent service to our residents

What We’re Looking For

Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
Long-term care, healthcare, restaurant, or institutional cooking experience is a plus
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Dependable, positive, and team-oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Must be able to work scheduled weekends and holidays as needed
