Warehouse Operations Specialist

The Warehouse Operations Specialist plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations across all departments including sales, dispatch, inventory, and logistics. This full-time, hourly position involves executing complex operational projects, resolving daily challenges, and providing cross-location support needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, proficient in MAM Warehouse Management System (MAM WMS) procedures, and capable of operating all warehouse equipment safely. Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional extended hours for special projects or business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an operational liaison between warehouse teams and branch management to ensure smooth coordination and execution of daily activities
• Process customer sales and returns in compliance with company policies
• Perform and support all core warehouse operations including, receiving, picking, staging, stocking, transfers, and returns.
• Adjust inventory quantities to maintain accuracy and operational efficiency
• Support dispatch functions to coordinate timely and accurate deliveries
• Conduct inventory spot counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Safely operate company vehicles for deliveries, transfers, or other approved business purposes
• Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and organized branch environment
• Provide cross-functional coverage and support during periods of high volume or staff absence.
• Collaborate with stocking and operations teams to optimize inventory storage
• Assist with branch expansion, reorganization, or modification of warehouse shelving and racking projects
• Support branch-level and regional operational initiatives, including process improvement and problem-solving efforts
• Travel periodically to other warehouse locations to assist with setup, operations, or project execution
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED or equivalent years of experience)
• 1+ years of experience in sales, warehouse, dispatch, or related operations
• Proven proficiency with warehouse equipment including forklifts and order pickers (must be trained and certified)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong computer skills, including MAM WMS and spreadsheet proficiency
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and work in warehouse conditions
