Business Systems Analyst

The Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Group at Leidos is hiring a Business Systems Analyst to support the OMBO program office team. U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Public Trust suitability. Primary Responsibilities Participate in meetings with senior officials from HHS, ASPR, and SNS. Analyze existing or proposed procedures, systems, strategies, and services; identify needs for improvement or assist in developing methods and resources to accomplish such improvements. Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, evaluate, and document requirements. Collaborate with IT teams to develop, configure, and test systems that meet business requirements. Conduct data mining, analysis, and modeling from structured and unstructured data using analytics tools (e.g., Excel and Power BI). Extract insights to develop findings, inferences, conclusions, and recommendations. Translate the results of analysis into clear, actionable communications that equip decision makers to make informed, data‑driven decisions. Create, develop, and publish sustainable reports and dashboards that update with current data on a recurring basis. Develop and maintain working relationships with appropriate organizations to meet the needs of the program’s mission. Research, collect, compile, and review qualitative and quantitative information and data for program decisions. Assist with the preparation of system recommendations to senior officials. Maintain continuous readiness posture by remaining flexible to respond 24h a day, year‑round. Support emergency management/incident response functions as needed to accomplish the program’s mission. Perform other related duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2–4 years of prior relevant experience. Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into technical, low‑code solutions (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Proficiency in common software, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Availability to be on‑call 24h/7d a week, able to respond to mission alerts within 15min and report to a designated location within 90min. Must carry a cell phone at all times. Ability to handle requests from multiple groups/organizations. Ability to lift up to 50lb. Accurate, meticulous, proactive, efficient self‑starter and team player. U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 NACI Public Trust suitability. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience supporting a government agency. Technically savvy. Pay Range $50,700.00 – $91,650.00 (general guideline).
