Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging tests and lab results
• Collaborate with surgeons to devise and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide critical intraoperative support, including preparing surgical environments, ensuring proper patient positioning, and assisting with instrument management
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Previous completion of clinical surgical rotations is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification is required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant is needed
