Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join WelbeHealth in San Jose, California . This opportunity is ideal for an OT who enjoys working with adults and older adults and is passionate about helping individuals maintain the independence, confidence, and functional abilities needed to participate fully in everyday life.

In this role, you will evaluate participants' functional needs, develop individualized treatment strategies, and provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve or preserve independence with activities of daily living. Offering a competitive salary of $114,000 – $136,000 annually , this position provides the opportunity to work with a complex adult and geriatric population while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team focused on supporting each participant's overall quality of life.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid California Occupational Therapy license or documented proof of eligibility for California licensure.
• One (1) to two (2) years of professional experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work effectively with adults and older adults with complex functional and healthcare needs.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary care team.
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• CPR and First Aid certification upon hire.
• Previous professional experience working with adult and/or geriatric populations.
• Experience supporting older adults with functional limitations, chronic conditions, or complex healthcare needs.
• Experience developing individualized interventions focused on activities of daily living, mobility, safety, and independence.

The ideal candidate is a patient, resourceful, and compassionate Occupational Therapist with professional adult and/or geriatric experience who understands that successful therapy extends beyond improving physical function—it helps individuals preserve their independence and continue participating in the activities that give their lives meaning. The strongest candidate will be comfortable adapting treatment strategies to the complex needs of older adults and collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team. Candidates whose professional experience is exclusively pediatric will not be considered for this opportunity.
