City/State: White Plains, New York Department: WPS Medical Cardiology E_1 Work Shift: Day Work Days: DAYS VARY Scheduled Hours: Hours Vary Hours Per Pay Period: 0 Pay Rate/Range: $40.91 - $61.37 Essential Functions and Responsibilities Understands and adheres to the WPH Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors. Conducts color flow Doppler Echos following established protocols. Conducts Stress Echos following established protocols. Assists Cardiologist in the TEE procedure. Submits echocardiograms at the highest quality possible well within the appropriate time span. Identifies and performs Echos without delegation. Identifies and performs other Non-Invasive testing without delegation (e.g., EKG, Holter). Proficient in the use of medical equipment such as EKG and EEG machines. Proficient in office equipment such as copy machine, fax, and computer. Recognizes and reports equipment malfunctions. Maintains safety standards and follows infection control guidelines. Performs routine office tasks such as answering phones, checking in patients, obtaining previous reports/films, or other related duties as needed. Participates in the performance improvement program. Demonstrates ability to work and communicate with all members of the practice team. Conducts other Non-Invasive procedures. Recognizes abnormal echo findings and communicates life-threatening situations to the appropriate personnel. Interacts with patients from neonates through geriatric population. Participates in coverage rotation to other outpatient offsites. Accepts duties and hours that may change according to the needs of the offsite practices. May be required to work holidays, overtime, and/or day, evening, and overnight shift coverage to help maintain adequate and safe coverage for the outpatient facility.
