Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Full and Part-Time, 12-Hour Day Shifts (9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. & 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) Location: Staples, Motley, and Pillager, MN Position Summary We are seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with disabilities, chronic mental illness, and/or traumatic brain injuries in a residential setting. This role focuses on helping individuals live as independently as possible through daily care, skill-building, and community involvement. Key Responsibilities Provide direct care and support with daily living activities, including personal care Administer medications according to established procedures Assist with household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry Support individuals in developing and maintaining life skills Accompany individuals to appointments, outings, and community activities Implement behavior support strategies and respond calmly to challenging situations Complete accurate and timely documentation Follow all care plans, policies, and state regulations Collaborate with team members, including supervisors and healthcare professionals Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record Ability to pass a Minnesota DHS background study and pre‑employment drug screening Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties Basic computer skills and ability to complete documentation accurately Ability to follow state and company policies, including 245D requirements Schedule Requirements Full and Part‑time positions available Must be available to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed Reliable attendance and punctuality required Preferred Skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high‑stress situations Dependable and adaptable Benefits (Eligible for Full‑Time Employees) 401(k) with employer match We live our mission through ASPIRE : Accountability, Stewardship, Passion, Integrity, Respect, Empower #J-18808-Ljbffr
