Bookkeeper

BookkeeperThe Bookkeeper is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the company's books are up to date. This role supports accounting activities such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledgerProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collectionsReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statementsPrepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reportsAssist with payroll processing and maintain employee expense recordsMaintain organized financial files and documentationSupport budgeting and forecasting activitiesAssist with month-end and year-end closing processesCoordinate with external accountants for tax preparation or auditsEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting regulationsRequired Skills & QualificationsProven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar roleProficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)Strong understanding of basic accounting principlesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong organizational and time-management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer competenceAbility to maintain confidentiality and work independently
