Advanced Practice Provider - Cardiothoracic Surgery - PRN

About this role:

As an Advanced Practice Provider in cardiothoracic (CT) surgery you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

• You will practice at our CT Surgery Clinic and St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, CO

• You will be on a PRN schedule that will be discussed with you upon hire

• Assist surgeons in performing procedures during surgery

• Perform Radial Artery and Saphenous vein harvesting

• Place Foley catheters and invasive lines

• Discharge Same Day or PACU patients

• Daily team rounding

• Clinic responsibilities include new H&P and surgical follow ups

• Q3 call includes rounding on weekends during call and being first call for the nursing floor

How we'll support you:

Compensation: Our compensation consists of a base salary plus call pay. The salary is calculated on years of experience and can range from $125,000 - $193,000.

What you'll bring:

• PA degree from a fully accredited program

• At least 1-2 years of experience as a First Assist PA required - NO NEW GRADS

• 1 year experience in CT with proven independence in EVH

• Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or the ability to obtain one

• BLS certification and DEA

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
