Position: Property & Casualty Insurance Agent - AIA Location: AIA - Henderson Blvd, Tampa, FL Job Id: 617 # of Openings: 0 Position Summary The Property & Casualty Insurance Agent – Commercial Lines is responsible for selling and servicing commercial insurance products while building long-term client relationships. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely and, in the office, with a focus on consultative selling, prospecting, retention, and collaboration with internal teams. The role combines client‑facing impact with strategic business development across the Tampa Bay market. Key Responsibilities Sales & Client Acquisition Advise, quote, and sell commercial property & casualty insurance policies. Analyze business operations and risk exposure to develop tailored insurance solutions. Meet monthly sales quotas by following established agency processes. Prospect for new business through community involvement and outreach to Achieva Credit Union members. Build and maintain strong relationships with policyholders, prospects, and referral sources. Client Service & Policy Management Manage policy expirations, renewals, and retention efforts. Collaborate with internal team members to support renewals and resolve service‑related issues. Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and carrier requirements. Stay current on industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes. Systems & Reporting Utilize agency management and CRM tools (e.g., AgencyZoom, EZLYNX) to track activities and client interactions. Maintain accurate documentation of sales efforts, policy information, and renewal workflows. Participate in incentive and recognition programs tied to performance metrics. Education and Experience Active Florida 2-20 Property & Casualty license required. 5+ years of commercial lines experience strongly preferred. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and pass a background check. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk assessment practices. Proven consultative sales skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships. Familiarity with agency management systems and CRM tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly organized, self‑motivated, and results‑driven. Ability to multitask and operate effectively in a hybrid team environment.
