ITD - Salesforce Solutions Developer

Job Summary (List Format) for Salesforce Solutions Developer NC DHHS ITD (DSDHH Project):
- Provide application support and enhancements for the Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DSDHH) within NC DHHS.
- Bridge strategic business needs with robust and secure Salesforce solution architecture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and developers to deliver sustainable enterprise solutions.
- Serve as a hands-on technical expert in customized Salesforce solutions.
- Transform business requirements into accurate, cost-effective technical architectures.
- Ensure all solutions align with data security and performance standards.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks across the solution architecture.
- Advise on best practices and justify the use of standard Salesforce functionality versus customizations.
- Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, data models, and solution diagrams.
- Lead code reviews, design sessions/workshops, and release planning sessions.
- Work with Agile teams on backlog refinement, user story decomposition, and acceptance criteria.
- Assist with Salesforce environment setup and CI/CD pipeline processes using Copado and other release management tools.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams for seamless project integration and delivery.
- Administer and manage Copado deployments with a focus on best practices, governance, and change control.
- Oversee and coach Salesforce project teams on Copado and release management processes.
- Support CoE/best practice oversight, coordinating with Salesforce platform owners.
- Utilize tools including GITHUB, Copado, Jira, Microsoft Office Suite, and Ownbackup.
- Work with Salesforce Shield, Lightning (LWC), Flows, Platform Community, Service Cloud, and Gov Cloud.
- Apply knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Preferred: Experience in Federal or State government environments and best practice oversight collaboration.
- Maintain required certifications: Salesforce Admin I & II, Platform Developer I & II and/or Platform App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant, Copado I & II, and CRT.
