Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Advocate Health Midwest.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: Draw ABGs, wean and extubate, vent management, bipap, cpap, nebs

Preferred Skills / Experience: Place art lines, intubate

NICU experience in C-sections and infant vents – must be comfortable with deliveries

Unit / Facility Details: Parking: Free in the designated areas

Shift & Scheduling: Start time TBD

No call requirement

Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd required

Holiday Requirements: 1 summer; 1 winter required

Floating Requirements: Throughout facility and ER

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification RRT (National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC))

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
