One of a Kind Hospitality is looking for fast, dependable, hard-working Back of House team members to join our taquería concept.

We’re looking for cooks who take pride in producing great food, keeping a clean station, working with urgency, and being part of a strong team. Experience in a taquería, Mexican kitchen, high-volume restaurant, grill, plancha, fryer, or prep kitchen is strongly preferred.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing tacos, meats, tortillas, salsas, garnishes, rice, beans, and other menu items
• Working grill, plancha, fryer, prep, taco assembly, and other kitchen stations
• Following recipes and portion standards consistently
• Keeping stations clean, stocked, organized, and ready for service
• Executing orders quickly and accurately during high-volume periods
• Preparing proteins, vegetables, sauces, garnishes, and daily mise en place
• Following food-safety, sanitation, labeling, dating, and storage procedures
• Completing opening, prep, and closing responsibilities
• Communicating shortages, delays, allergies, or quality issues immediately
• Supporting other kitchen team members when needed

We’re Looking For

• Restaurant kitchen or taquería experience preferred
• Taco, grill, plancha, fryer, or prep experience is a big plus
• Spanish-speaking or bilingual candidates preferred
• Strong sense of urgency
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Clean and organized working habits
• Team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Illinois Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain it
