Job Summary
We are a warm, "family-feel" Pediatric Office in Hackensack looking for a kind, detail-oriented Manager with a strong understanding of Medical Coding and Billing processes . The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and customer service skills. Experience with Pediatric Billing would be a big plus! Offering PTO, Bonus Pay, and Benefits. Responsibilities
- Manage a small group of friendly staff
- Processing insurance claims to private insurance companies
- Review and analyze medical records and documentation to ensure accurate coding and billing
- Assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-10 and DRG coding systems
- Verify patient insurance coverage and process claims for reimbursement
- Enter all billing and payment information into the EHR/EMR system properly
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller / Certified Coder
- Strong knowledge of coding systems and billing procedures
- Proficient in using medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organization skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- High level of integrity and commitment to patient privacy
- Maintains the highest level of professionalism
