Registered Nurse - 4 South Med/Surg Per Diem

Responsibilities Deliver nursing practices according to evidence‑based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to provide safe and excellent individualized patient‑centered care. Communicate regularly with patients, nursing colleagues and other health‑care team members regarding patient status, rendered care and treatment plans. Ensure optimal patient and guest satisfaction and care experience according to Hackensack Meridian Health standards. Administer medication utilizing clinical documentation technology to ensure safe delivery. Provide patient and family centered care to optimize health, wellness and disease management. Collaborate interdisciplinarily in managing patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transition and continuum of care. Qualifications Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license. Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification. BSN strongly preferred or must be obtained within 3 years. Minimum 1 year of RN experience. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, strong sense of accountability, exceptional focus on teamwork, and passion for delivering high quality patient care. Performance‑based incentives, bonuses, commissions, and shift differentials may be available.
