Press OperatorResponsibilitiesComplete all requirements for the Automatic Press Operator Trainee position and independently run presses.Prepare presses and work sites for setup, following instructions for setting up and adjusting various press components.Install and remove dies in the press, ensuring proper operation of automatic presses.Monitor and maintain press fluid levels, changing lubricants, and disposing of waste oil.Verify raw material stock and manage steel coils, including loading, removing, and banding.Utilize intranet, Kanban, and EAM systems to obtain job task information and order materials.Safely operate hi-los, overhead cranes, and die carts for material handling.Troubleshoot presses using Smart Pac, CNC computers, and controls to ensure quality and production levels.Perform coil changes and use Torch and Plasma cutter as needed.Assist in the training of Automatic Press Operator trainees.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
